What is VoLTE ?
VoLTE stands for voice over LTE. It voice calls over a 4G LTE network, rather than the 2G or 3G connections which are usually used. This result in high quality of voice calls and better connectivity. VoLTE has up to three times more voice and data capacity than 3G and up to six times more than 2G networks.In India Reliance Jio announced commercial launch of 100% VoLTE service without 2G/3G based services in India on 5th Sep 2016.
